- Citizens of around 70 countries receive visa on arrival at no charge (does not include Indian, Pakistani, Nigerian, Filipino, or Bangladeshi nationals without qualifying documents — see below)
- Indian nationals holding a valid US, UK or EU visa, residence permit or green card, or a residence permit from Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Singapore or New Zealand, qualify for a 14-day visa on arrival
- Since 25 June 2026, nationals of the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Kenya, and South Africa holding a valid residence permit from the US, UK, an EU member state, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, or South Korea can obtain a visa on arrival (14-day AED 100 or 60-day AED 250); Pakistani, Nigerian, and Bangladeshi nationals still need a pre-arranged visa
- Transit passengers remaining in airport transit area do not need a visa
