What This Means for You

If you are Nigerian, Kenyan, Ghanaian or from another sticker-visa country, or South Asian without a Western visa, pre-apply at visa.gov.tr, book with the one authorised centre in your country, and bring six months of bank statements, bookings, an employer letter and insurance. Pakistanis know the price: PKR 52,200 for a three-month single entry, in cash. Others learn it at booking.

Overview

The sticker visa is the consular visa placed in the passport, and it is the only route for nationalities the ministry lists as simply "required to have visa": Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and Myanmar. It is also the fallback for Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Philippine, Nepalese and Sri Lankan travellers who do not hold the Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa that the e-Visa requires, and for anyone travelling to work, study or stay beyond an e-Visa.

The process: Every applicant first completes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pre-application at visa.gov.tr, which the Cairo embassy's checklist names as the application portal. The applicant then books an appointment with the single visa application company the embassy has authorised in that country, lodges the passport and documents, pays the fee, and collects the passport when the mission has decided.

Authorised centres named by the embassies: - Nigeria: Sefa Visa, the "newly authorized visa application company" to which all applications go from 5 January 2026 per the Abuja embassy, at Churchgate Tower, Central Business District, Abuja, and since 1 June 2026 at Cardinal Place, Oniru, Lekki, Lagos. The embassy's January notice said Lagos applications would not be accepted until the Lagos office opened; honorary consulates in Lagos and Kano do not take applications - Bangladesh: Mosaic Visa, House 77, Block M, Road 11, Banani, Dhaka, the "only authorised visa application center in Bangladesh" from 1 February 2026 - Pakistan: Anatolia Travel Services, "the sole authorized service provider for Turkish Diplomatic Missions across Pakistan", with offices in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Hyderabad - Philippines: AgentTR, the Türkiye Visa Application Center that has processed all applications since 30 May 2022

Fees: Set per mission. The Islamabad embassy's fee structure of 20 February 2026 is the one published in full: for Pakistani and non-EU passports, single entry PKR 52,200 (three months' validity), PKR 58,000 (six months) or PKR 63,800 (twelve months); multiple entry PKR 98,600 (twelve months only); single transit PKR 52,200 to 63,800; double transit PKR 69,600 to 81,200; VIP handling PKR 4,350 extra; all payable in cash, non-refundable and exclusive of tax. EU passports pay PKR 60,900 to 72,500 for single entry. Nigeria, Bangladesh and the Philippines do not publish schedules online; the centres quote the fee at booking. Egypt's embassy lists EGP 470 for single entry and EGP 1,570 for multiple entry.

Documents: The Cairo embassy's list is representative of what missions ask for: passport valid at least six months, application form, a recent 4 x 6 photograph, six months of bank statements, an employer letter or commercial registration, health insurance covering the stay, and flight and hotel reservations. Business applicants add an invitation from the Turkish company; family visitors an invitation and the host's residence document.

Turnaround: Not published by the ministry; centres quote two to three weeks and longer in peak season. Apply at least a month ahead.

Validity: The Islamabad schedule shows visas issued with three-, six- or twelve-month validity windows; the stay per entry is set by the mission, commonly 30 days for tourism. The passport must be valid 60 days beyond the stay.

Through AgentTR, the Türkiye Visa Application Center that the Manila embassy says has processed all applications since 30 May 2022. Filipinos with a valid Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa can use the e-Visa.
