Myanmar citizens can visit Malaysia without a visa for tourism purposes. Visa-exempt for short social visits of up to 14 days since 1 Oct 2025 (Embassy of Malaysia, Yangon). Longer stays need the eVisa at malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my (30 days per entry); the exemption does not guarantee entry. MDAC within 3 days before arrival. The maximum permitted stay is 14 days.

While no visa is required, Myanmar passport holders must carry a valid passport and may be asked to present proof of onward travel, accommodation bookings, and evidence of sufficient funds at the border.

Ensure your Myanmar passport has adequate validity before departure — most countries require at least 6 months beyond the planned stay.
