Malaysia Visa Overview for Saudi Citizens

Saudi citizens can visit Malaysia without a visa for tourism purposes. Visa-exempt: not on the Immigration Department's list of 31 visa-required nationalities (8 Sep 2026); social visit pass of up to 90 days normally issued to this nationality on arrival (airline Timatic grouping; the department no longer publishes per-country stays). Malaysia Digital Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival (free); passport valid six months. The maximum permitted stay is 90 days.

While no visa is required, Saudi passport holders must carry a valid passport and may be asked to present proof of onward travel, accommodation bookings, and evidence of sufficient funds at the border.

Ensure your Saudi passport has adequate validity before departure — most countries require at least 6 months beyond the planned stay. Saudi Arabia is on the UK ETA list — a £20 Electronic Travel Authorisation applied for online covers stays of up to 6 months, so no UK visa is needed.
