Frequently Asked Questions
What does this tool compare?▾
It compares visa requirements for 2-5 passports across 9 popular destinations (UK, US, Canada, Australia, Schengen, UAE, Japan, Singapore, Thailand). It shows which destinations all travellers can visit visa-free, where some need a visa, and where all need visas.
Is this useful for couples with different passports?▾
Yes — this is exactly who it is built for. If you and your partner hold different passports, this tool shows you at a glance which destinations are easiest to visit together and which might require extra planning.
What counts as "free entry" in this comparison?▾
We group results into three categories. "Travel freely together" means both passports have visa-free, eTA, or visa-on-arrival access — no advance application needed. "One of you needs a visa" means one passport has easy entry while the other requires a full visa application. "Both need visas" means both passports require advance applications. Note: eVisa destinations (where you apply online but still need approval) are counted as requiring a visa, not as free entry.
Why are only 9 destinations shown?▾
We focus on the 9 most popular travel destinations for which we maintain verified, up-to-date visa data. We don't include countries where we don't have reliable data — accuracy matters more than coverage.
How current is this data?▾
Our visa matrix is updated regularly from official government sources. Each entry includes processing times, fees, and requirements verified as of April 2026. Always confirm with the relevant embassy before travelling.
